Stef

Stef, creative colorist and super nerd extraordinaire, brings a sense of artistry and storytelling to their chair. Specializing in vivid colors, layered cuts, and androgenous style, they bring enthusiasm and skill to any transformation. They are open to any hair adventure – great or small, trim or big chop, imaginative rainbow colors to naturally-hued balayage.

Their journey began behind the chair in 2020, where they studied and graduated from Bella Capelli Academy. They then joined the team at Isle of You Hair Color Studio (Lawrenceville) until 2025, when the salon closed its doors. Seeking new horizons, they joined the talented stylists of Jeffery Smith Salon. In Stef's "former life" they graduated from Edinboro University in 2015 with a BA in English Literature, worked in the non-profit world, as a camp counselor, and even had a brief stint making candles.

Stef is passionate about D&D, thrifting, the arts, literature, and anything to do with the outdoors. Their love for art extends to hair; finding every head of hair to be an expression of the self. They have a background in working in and around queer and neurodivergent (autism and ADHD) communities. Their expertise offers a safe space to connect, and share boundless self-expression regardless of identity. Taking a down-to-earth approach to meeting clients both new and old, Stef will work with you to find what colors and styles leave you feeling the most confident in the skin you're in.
