Valentina Agresta-Parrilla

Originally from Ohio, Valentina was born into a family of beauticians. Her mother, a makeup artist & hairdresser, was taught by her grandmother, who was owner & operator of the Steubenville School of Cosmetology. Valentina began assisting at Jeffrey's Salon in 1989, just after graduating from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. In 1993 she took additional courses at PBA in Nail Technology, then spent the remainder of the year training under Ethel Fabian at Faces European Skin Care Salon. Specializing in pedicures, she returned to Jeffrey's in 1994, where she became passionate about using only products & techniques that promote the health and growth of the natural nail without artificial enhancements. Valentina lives with her husband Nick in Morningside, where she enjoys music, crosswords, metaphysical studies, and spoiling Buddy, their Yorkie.
